About South Downs Driving School

Hello my name is Janet Lambert, I am a fully qualified Government Approved Driving Instructor (ADI). I provide a range of driving lessons and courses to suite my students - from 1 hour lessons for those quick lunch break sessions, weekly 2hr lessons, semi-intensive courses for those who want to learn at a faster (or cheaper!) pace, or a refresher for those that need a confidence boost.  Lessons can be paid for weekly or in a block.

The style of training I use is client centred rather than instruction.  I provide a safe environment for the student to flourish.  After the basics have been mastered, you, the student pick the what, when, where and how.   When a student is engaged in the learning it brings down the time it takes to master the task and therefore is more economical both in time and money.

I am based in Midhurst, the heart of the South Downs National Park.  I cover surrounding villages north, south, east and west within a 5 mile radius and use Chichester driving test centre for the practical test.

The car students will use is a 2024 dual controlled, silver MG ZS automatic with air conditioning and 360 degree camera.
